Bio

Jodie Newman is the Chief Operating Officer for McClave + Associates (MC+A), specializing in litigation support and case management primarily for large, multi-district class action and antitrust cases. Since joining MC+A, Ms. Newman has provided analytical, project management and research support for a wide variety of cases. Combining her background as a litigator with her experience on the MC+A team, Ms. Newman’s focus is on the development of the case from an economic and econometric perspective, including analysis of the relevant economic market determinants. She has extensive experience in litigation consulting, from advising clients concerning discovery to hands-on trial support.

Prior to joining MC+A, Ms. Newman was employed by Infotech as the Director of Human Resources. Previously, she served as Assistant General Counsel and Director of Compensation and Benefits for Tufts Health Plan in Boston, Massachusetts. Prior to Tufts, Ms. Newman was a Senior Labor and Employment Litigation Associate with the law firm of Choate, Hall & Stewart in Boston.

Newman studied at Boston College. She received a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Political Science in 1987 and a Juris Doctorate in 1990. She received her Master of Laws in Antitrust and Economics from George Mason University Law School in 2023. She is a member of the Massachusetts Bar. She is active in professional organizations such as the American Bar Association/Antitrust Section, and spends her personal time on causes such as gender equality and Democratic National Committee initiatives as well as serving on the board of Watch Me Run.
