Infotech Consulting is honored to have Dr. Robert Lanzillotti as an Associate Consultant. Dr. Lanzillotti’s career spans six decades and has placed him in the highest esteem as an expert consultant, scholar and educator.

Dr. Lanzillotti has served as an economic consultant on antitrust and regulatory matters to many major U.S. corporations, including Alcoa, Anheuser-Busch, Armstrong Cork, Bethlehem Steel, CSX Corp., Gulf Oil, General Motors, General Electric, W. R. Grace, International Materials Corp., Hughes Helicopters, Jaguar Motor Company, Toyota Motor Corp., and Imperial Chemicals, Inc.

President Nixon appointed him to the U.S. Price Commission in 1971. He also has consulted for a number of U.S. and foreign governmental entities, including the United Arab Emirates, the U.S. Government Accounting Office, the Comptroller General, the U.S. Department of Commerce, and the U.S. Census Bureau.

Dr. Lanzillotti is the Dean Emeritus of the College of Business Administration at the University of Florida, Eminent Scholar Chair in American Economic Institutions, and Emeritus and Director of the Public Policy Research Center. He has served as consultant to several Florida Governors in numerous roles, including Chairman of Governor Askew’s economic advisory board, Chairman of Governor Graham’s Unitary Tax Study Commission, member of the advisory boards of the U.S. Comptroller of the Currency and the Secretary of Commerce, and consultant to the U.S. Attorney General and the Federal Trade Commission on antitrust matters. He has served as economic consultant to more than a dozen state attorneys general on antitrust matters. He has testified on matters of national economic policy before U.S. Senate and House committees, has served as director of many financial institutions and industrial companies, was a NATO research fellow, and has authored numerous books and articles.

During his career, Dr. Lanzillotti has held several positions in the academic field. He was the Dean of the University of Florida Graduate School of Business from 1969 to 1986. He was adjunct professor of Economics at Cornell University, Professor and Chairman of the Economics Department at Michigan State University, Professor of Economics at Washington State University, and held a fellowship in Economic Statistics at the University of California at Berkeley.

Dr. Lanzillotti has published more than 75 articles in peer reviewed economic and law journals, as well as more than one dozen books and sections of books on economics and regulatory topics. He has served as reviewer for the National Science Foundation and the editors of a number of economics and law journals. Dr. Lanzillotti served as member of the U.S. Price Commission (by Presidential Appointment) from 1971-73.

Dr. Lanzillotti holds honorary degrees from the University of Tampa and Florida Institute of Technology. He is Past President of the International Schumpeter Society and is a member of the Antitrust Committee of the American Bar Association. He was an honorary member of the Florida Council of 100 from 1973 to 1996, and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Beta Gamma Sigma, Omnicron Delta Kappa, and Florida Blue Key (Distinguished Faculty).

Dr. Lanzillotti held directorships in a number of U.S. Corporations, including the Jim Walter Corporation, C & S Florida Bank Corp., Florida Progress Corp., Florida Power Corp., First City Bank of Gainesville, Bank at Ormond Beach, Catalina Corp., Kangaroo Products Co., and Florida First Service Corp. He currently is a member of the board of the Southeast Tissue Bank and the University of Florida Foundation.

Dr. Lanzillotti served in the United States Navy for two years and retired with the rank of Lieutenant Commander. He earned two Bronze Stars and served in European and Pacific theaters. He attended Dartmouth College, holds a Doctorate from the University of California at Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in Economics from American University.

Bio

Paul Manning is the Data Officer with McClave + Associates (MC+A). Since joining the company in 1990, then known as Infotech Consulting, he has worked on numerous projects lending his analytical and computing expertise to various issues including antitrust, discrimination, unfair trade practices, environmental impact, business valuation and healthcare fraud.

His specialties include database management, programming and econometric and statistical analyses. He has been the lead consultant for many projects and has prepared numerous declarations, affidavits and expert certifications. Mr. Manning has also provided deposition and evidentiary hearing testimony.

Prior to joining MC+A, Mr. Manning was a Senior Engineer with Pratt & Whitney Aircraft. While there, he used his programming and data analysis skills in the design and testing of military jet engine compressors. Mr. Manning has also been employed by the University of Virginia’s Rotating Machinery and Controls Laboratory, General Dynamics’ Electric Boat Division and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

Manning earned a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Delaware and a Master of Science in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from the University of Virginia.

Bio

Tom Krizanosky is a Senior Statistical Consultant with McClave + Associates (MC+A). Since joining MC+A in 1992, then known as Infotech Consulting, Mr. Krizanosky has worked on many key projects lending his expertise in statistical theory and applications.

He has performed statistical analyses for environmental projects, and econometric modeling and damage estimation for antitrust and employment discrimination litigation. Mr. Krizanosky has also designed claims sampling methodologies for federal investigations of Medicare and Medicaid providers and developed computer programs for detecting and measuring healthcare fraud.

Prior to joining MC+A, Mr. Krizanosky was an instructor for the Department of Statistics at the University of Central Florida and also worked as a statistical consultant for faculty and graduate students from other departments at the university.

Krizanosky received a Bachelor of Science in Statistics with honors from the University of Central Florida. He also obtained his Master of Science in Statistical Computing at UCF, and he is a member of the National Health Care Anti-Fraud Association and the American Statistical Association.

Bio

Janese Nix is a Project Manager/Senior Consultant with Infotech Consulting. She specializes in statistical and econometric modeling, regression analysis, statistical programming, antitrust liability analysis and damage estimation and epidemiological analysis.

Since her employment with Infotech Consulting, Ms. Nix has worked on many key projects lending her expertise in statistical theory and applications. She has performed statistical analyses for antitrust, employment discrimination, business evaluation, and product liability cases, as well as environmental projects, and provided collusion detection analysis and training to state highway and federal agencies.

Prior to joining Infotech Consulting in 1994, Nix was an instructor for the Department of Statistics at the University of Central Florida. Ms. Nix holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Florida and a Master of Science in Statistical Computing from the University of Central Florida.

Bio

Dr. Ramon Littell is an Associate Consultant (Emeritus) for McClave + Associates. Dr. Littell was a statistics educator for more than 40 years including as a professor in the Statistics Department at the University of Florida. He also has presented short courses for numerous companies and governmental agencies. His major applied career focus has been on the utilization of the SAS computer software for statistical analysis of research data. He worked on the application of mixed linear models for the analysis of repeated measures and panel data.

Dr. Littell has co-authored five books on statistics, including SAS for Mixed Model, SAS for Regression, and SAS for Linear Models, and has been published in many respected journals.

Dr. Littell holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from Emporia State University, and both a Master’s Degree in Mathematics and a Doctorate in Statistics from Oklahoma State University.
