Bio

Chuck Girard is a Consultant with McClave + Associates (MC+A). His primary areas of expertise are database management, market analysis support, and data normalization and classification.

Chuck has been with MC+A, previously known as Infotech Consulting, since 2004 and was originally part of the Infotech Systems business. There he was first exposed to AASHTOWare Project BAMS/DSS and its bid analysis capabilities in relation to asphalt markets. While a part of the Infotech Systems business, he served as the technical lead on various projects including database management, market analysis support, data migration, system installation and configuration, interface/report development, and training for the full suite of AASHTOWare Products with a special focus on AASHTOWare Project BAMS/DSS.

Girard earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Decision and Information Sciences from the University of Florida in August 2002.

Bio

Jodie Newman is the Chief Operating Officer for McClave + Associates (MC+A), specializing in litigation support and case management primarily for large, multi-district class action and antitrust cases. Since joining MC+A, Ms. Newman has provided analytical, project management and research support for a wide variety of cases. Combining her background as a litigator with her experience on the MC+A team, Ms. Newman’s focus is on the development of the case from an economic and econometric perspective, including analysis of the relevant economic market determinants. She has extensive experience in litigation consulting, from advising clients concerning discovery to hands-on trial support.

Prior to joining MC+A, Ms. Newman was employed by Infotech as the Director of Human Resources. Previously, she served as Assistant General Counsel and Director of Compensation and Benefits for Tufts Health Plan in Boston, Massachusetts. Prior to Tufts, Ms. Newman was a Senior Labor and Employment Litigation Associate with the law firm of Choate, Hall & Stewart in Boston.

Newman studied at Boston College. She received a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Political Science in 1987 and a Juris Doctorate in 1990. She received her Master of Laws in Antitrust and Economics from George Mason University Law School in 2023. She is a member of the Massachusetts Bar. She is active in professional organizations such as the American Bar Association/Antitrust Section, and spends her personal time on causes such as gender equality and Democratic National Committee initiatives as well as serving on the board of Watch Me Run.

Bio

Michelle Legath is a Senior Administrator for McClave + Associates (MC+A). Since joining the company in 2009, she has held several positions including Data Processor, Project Assistant, Data Entry Specialist, and Project Administrator. Prior to joining MC+A, Legath had extensive experience in business and office management. Her training and experience in business have been instrumental in preparing her for her current job responsibilities.

Legath specialties include database creation, data entry and verification, data mining, industry research pertaining to case development, and team support.

Bio

Dr. Allison Zhou is a Senior Economic Consultant at McClave + Associates (MC+A). Since joining MC+A in 2010, then known as Infotech Consulting, Dr. Zhou has worked on many key antitrust matters involving class certification, liability, and damages. Dr. Zhou has expertise in applied microeconomics, econometric and statistical modeling and large-scale data analysis and management. She brings experience with a number of industries to the team, including retail, healthcare, insurance, steel, and airlines.

Prior to joining MC+A, Dr. Zhou was a Research Economist at ERS Group in Washington, DC, where she provided economic and statistical consulting services on issues related to labor and employment litigation. She also previously worked as a Research Assistant at the National Bureau of Economic Research, where she participated in various research projects in health economics and created and maintained large-scale longitudinal datasets.

Dr. Zhou received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Master of Arts in Economics from Beijing University in Beijing, China. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Stanford University.

Bio

Erica Bloomberg-Johnson is a Consultant for McClave + Associates (MC+A), specializing in investigative research and support for large multi-district class action and antitrust cases. Johnson focuses on the development of cases through in-depth research and analysis of a wide range of issues, from customers and products to relevant features of the industry at issue. She has extensive experience with litigation document databases as well as publicly available economic data.

Prior to joining MC+A, Johnson was employed by the law firm of Gloria Fletcher, PA, where she practiced criminal defense litigation and civil litigation in North Central Florida. She has previous experience in the areas of prosecutorial litigation with the State of Florida and tax law with the University of Florida.

Johnson received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida, College of Liberal Arts in 1993 and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida in 1996. She is a member of the Florida Bar.
