Bio

Chuhan Zhou is an Associate for McClave + Associates, specializing in data management and analysis.

Before joining MC+A, Zhou worked as a Research Analyst at Purdue Engineering Research Lab, conducting extensive background research and data analyses for teamwork-related research projects. Zhou also worked as a Research Analyst Intern at a securities company in Beijing, China, analyzing data to predict future economic outlook and the effect of recent economic policies, and conducting research on global finance, economics, and politics, gaining extensive experience in global macroeconomic analysis.

Zhou received a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Statistics, with Minors in Economics and Mathematics from Purdue University, and his Master’s in Statistical Science from Duke University.

Bio

Janese Nix is a Senior Statistical Consultant with McClave + Associates (MC+A). She specializes in statistical and econometric modeling, regression analysis, statistical programming, antitrust liability analysis and damage estimation and epidemiological analysis.

Since her employment with MC+A, Ms. Nix has worked on many key projects lending her expertise in statistical theory and applications. She has performed statistical analyses for antitrust, employment discrimination, business evaluation, and product liability cases, as well as environmental projects, and provided collusion detection analysis and training to state highway and federal agencies.

Prior to joining MC+A in 1994, then known as Infotech Consulting, Nix was an instructor for the Department of Statistics at the University of Central Florida. Ms. Nix holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Florida and a Master of Science in Statistical Computing from the University of Central Florida.

Bio

Barbara Simons is the Executive Administrator for McClave + Associates (MC+A). Since joining MC+A in 1982 (originally known as Infotech Consulting), she has served in a variety of capacities. Simons has held positions such as Data Entry Specialist, Senior Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer, and Senior Project Assistant to the President. Additionally, she serves as the MC+A business liaison, representing the team for internal and external daily operations.

Her specialties include client interaction, database creation, data entry and verification, data mining, industry research pertaining to case development, team support and coordination of tasks and events.

Simons earned her Associate of Arts degree from Santa Fe College with a focus in business and education.

Bio

Joe Bloom joined McClave + Associates, previously known as Infotech Consulting, in 1983 as a Programmer/Analyst. Since then, he has worked as a Consultant Analyst, and now is a Senior Consultant.

Bloom has worked on a wide variety of litigation support cases, which have varied from the determination of liability and the calculation of damages in antitrust cases to the estimation of lost profits in business interference cases. Mr. Bloom specializes in civil litigation damage estimation, statistical programming, and analysis, employment discrimination analysis (liability and damages), and database management.

Bloom received both his Bachelor of Arts in Statistics and his Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Sciences from the University of Florida.

Bio

Cindy Hewitt is the Director of Data Analysis for Infotech Consulting, working in the Consulting Division since 1984. Her specialty is the use of statistics to develop solutions to a wide variety of problems. She has extensive experience in litigation services applied to such fields as environmental regulation, antitrust, discrimination, health care management, and business infringement. She has been qualified as an expert witness, providing testimony for hearing proceedings and federal court.

Prior to joining Infotech Consulting, Ms. Hewitt worked as a Biostatistician, working with other scientists at the National Center for Toxicological Research. She worked on experimental studies for the Food and Drug Administration testing, the health effects of various chemicals and drugs.

Hewitt received her Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics in 1980 from the University of Florida and continued at that institution to receive her Master of Statistics in 1982.
